At Ravenna Pattern and Manufacturing, Inc., we have tooled our
company with the future in mind
A computer oriented environment has been established to hold the closest
possible tolerances to meet our customers' most stringent specifications. This
latest technology is being utilized to its fullest potential.
We have and are currently producing Computer Aided Design and Engineering on
our CAD/CAM Systems, with three dimensional imaging and surfacing capability.
After the design is completed and upon customer approval, we proceed to
generate tool paths and download them directly to our CNC Machine Department.
We are capable of providing a 3-D model and/or tape, and of accepting data in the
same manner -- whichever is preferred -- for our customers' future tooling
programs.
Our Michigan Plant offers a complete CAD/CAM, CNC, CMM Department with total
layout facilities and a machine department which includes CNC Mazak Vertical
Machine Centers, (10) Sharnoa CNC Machining Centers, CNC Mazak lathe's for
precision turning, 3" and 5" Boring Mills, complete bench facilities, and an efficient
wood department.
The final check of all pattern tooling is done on our DEA/SCIROCCI Coordinate
Measuring Machine, which provides us with a disk and print-out of dimensional
inspection.
